'Once upon a time…' isn't that how it begins? 'Happily ever after…' isn't that how it must end? In this Fairy Tale there are trumpets to declare… a Princess-child is born, as the King cries Happy Tears
So the days pass into years as a year passes like a day, 'till a Prince comes for her hand and Happy Tears sweep her away. And so this story's told from every Mother to every child. Each word explodes anew with every step down the wedding aisle.
Two becoming one: God has made it so. A daughter leaves her home for the Champion of her Soul, A man has come to know the fullness of his life, He kneels before his God and walks away - hand in hand - with his wife.
It's the Mystery of Love More than Man could ever dream of It's not of Earth but from above
Two have now become as one And a new home has begun As they share heartbeats - in harmony - it's majesty … This Mystery called Love
A parent's eyes of Joy, fill with happy tears To watch their girl become a woman through the years. Her life like a river flows, and a father keeps this pledge: When the rushing waters rage , I'll be the river's edge.
And a Mother's heart is this: from the time her daughter's born, She knows there's a boy out there who'll one day come along. So she prays throughout the years for that one in God's great plan Who'll ask through a father's tears, "…in marriage, may I have her hand?"
"That's my daughter… my baby… my best friend…" "My joy… my laughter… my happiness within" "But she's my princess that's found a prince so true," "So my answer's the same she's given you…"Her eyes say - Yes! Her heart says - Yes! Her soul says - Yes! Her lips say - Yes! Her kiss says - Yes! Her happiness says - Yes!Two becoming one: God has made it so. A daughter leaves her home for the Champion of her Soul, A man has come to know the fullness of his life, He kneels before his God and walks away - hand in hand - with his wife.
